River Film

Oxford House

Great Portland Estates (GPE) · Oxford Road East / Tottenham Court Road, London

Whenever a job from GPE arrives at River Film, the team already expects it to be a strong project. GPE is a forward-thinking FTSE 250 property investment company that owns over £2.5 billion of London real estate and backs game-changing projects.

GPE knows what sets River Film apart as a video production company and trusts it to make films that shift how audiences see a place. Oxford House fit this pattern.

The film had to show how appealing the Oxford House area would become. This was harder because the site was surrounded by building sites, and Crossrail had not yet reached Tottenham Court Road.

Oxford Road East was not seen as a prime location, so River Film had to change that view. The international market needed to understand that Oxford House, which faces the Oxford Street entrance of the Tottenham Court Road Elizabeth Line, would become a retail and entertainment hub.

The concept projected real people onto a CG model to convey the area’s energy and vibrancy.

The team used green screen recordings to produce a memorable real estate marketing film that differed greatly from others in the sector.

River Film looks for new creative solutions on every project and avoids repeating one approach.
