The project was built around the brand idea “From here, the world.” River Film made a film showing how the quality of the building and the strength of its location work together: from this site, a company could reach out to the world, and the world could reach in.
River Film chose not to make a fly-through, believing it would undercut the building’s standout location. Instead, the team brought the surroundings, rich in history, art and culture, into the building itself. The film follows a fantastical character who creates change within the building, both physically and metaphorically.
River Film describes it as groundbreaking, experimental work and is proud of the result. Although the approach was quite avant-garde, all stakeholders agreed with how the production and storyboard came together.
River Film’s approach to excellent film content is to visualise the experience rather than the architecture. That focus was key to making the project memorable and game-changing.
