River Film

1550 Crystal Drive

The project is built around a script written by Wordsearch. Its charming voiceover sparked ideas and visual cues for the River Film team, including the Talking Heads music video “And She Was”.

The cut-out animation style gave the team creative freedom to illustrate the voiceover’s story. It also aimed to build excitement about the 1550 lifestyle at a time when people were often unsure about returning to the office.

Because the building was already complete, the team needed to raise awareness quickly. They hid a tennis racket in the film: viewers who spotted it and told the developer were entered to win a Venus Williams tennis racket used at Wimbledon.

The video was a major success for the client and is among River Film’s favourite projects. River Film aims to change audience perceptions of groundbreaking projects. “At River Film, we sell experiences and not architecture.”
